Welcome
This is the official site of the Vermont Quarter Horse Youth Association, a sister site to the parent club.
VQHYA strives to make sure that each member is fully involved in the meetings and events that we hold each month, and supports
members in their activities with their horses. VQHYA is an affiliate club of the American Quarter Horse Youth Association
and AQHA which are located in Amarillo, Texas. AQHA is the largest breed registry in the world with more than 50,000 horses
registered each year and membership figures for 2005 of 350,000. The AQHA goal is based on increasing membership by the marketing,
promoting and advertising for and with affiliates and the American Quarter Horse Association.
With
so many different ways to compete and ride with the American Quarter Horse, there is no
reason no
to join.

BOB DRAKE CLINIC CANCELED
The
clinic that was supposed to run on March 16 has been canceled due to bad road conditions, mainly mud! We hope this has
not caused any problems, and we are thinking of rescheduling it.
